The Brass Lantern was established in 1988, providing customers with Southeastern Manitoba’s finest dining experience. We are now located in the #12 and Main Buisness center in Steinbach. We are Steinbach's first full scale banquet & conference center and premier casual fine dining restaurant.

Chef/Owner Gregory Klippenstein and new Executive Chef Francois Larouche take great pride in creating dishes that feature the freshest available local products. We serve only the finest Certified Angus Beef. We've shaken things up a bit, and now serve a Lunch menu as well as a Dinner menu both featuring bistro inspired Continental cuisine. We will be featuring a Tapas menu in the afternoon and late night, as well as our decadent house made desserts.

We're open 7 days a week, and on Sundays we offer our famous Brunch Buffet from 10am to 2pm. On Friday and Saturday evenings we provide live local music entertainment. Our fully-licensed dining room is clean and contemporary with high ceilings and 12’ high glass windows overlooking bustling downtown Steinbach.

Our dining room seats over 100 guests, while our premium banquet facilities can accommodate 400+ guests. We can even modify the configuration to suit several smaller private events at once. There's a large ballroom area with glass wall feature and chandeliers, as well as two balconies and cascading staircases. With state of the art audio visual production, Wi-Fi needs and full service events planning this facility is suited to conferences, sales presentations, weddings, staff parties and productions. A facility like this has been missing in the Steinbach landscape and we will be providing a valuable asset for the community.

We welcome all families, couples, and business groups, as well as anyone getting married, or celebrating important life events. We serve customers from all over Southeastern Manitoba, especially from LaBroquerie, Mitchell, Ste. Anne, Marchand, Landmark, Bothwell, Grunthal, and Winnipeg.
